Doggone Walk-A-Thon to Benefit Yolo County SPCA
Yolo County SPCA will hold our fourth annual Doggone Walk-a-thon on Saturday, May 3 in Davis Community Park. The walk begins at the Covell and F corner of the park, behind the Davis Art Center.
Pre-registration is $15 per person, and sponsorship pledge forms are available on www.yolospca.org. The walk begins at 9:00 AM. Walkers may late-register for $20 at the event but should arrive early to find parking and complete registration. Walkers are invited to “walk as a team” to raise additional funds for the SPCA, and prizes will be awarded.
Enjoy fun activities at the Walk-a-thon, including Dog Portraits by photographer, children’s games, pet-related activities, a variety of vendors, and entertainment. Come, have fun, and support homeless animals!
The mission of the Yolo County SPCA is to continuously improve the welfare of animals in the community through programs that promote the adoption of homeless animals into permanent, loving homes; humane education; spay/neutering; and the trapping, altering, and releasing of feral cats.
Yolo SPCA is a foster-based program - we do not have a shelter facility. You can learn how to adopt from Yolo County Animal Services Shelter. For more information on the programs of Yolo County SPCA, visit our website at www.yolospca.org or call (530) 304-2041.
